For applicants interested in applying for a D-CFAR or CFAR, please review the current Centers for AIDS Research (CFAR) program announcement, PAR-09-103, in the NIH Guide.
After reading the CFAR program announcement, please contact the individuals listed under the Contact Us page prior to preparing your application. If you have general questions about the CFAR Program or CFAR Program Announcement, please contact the CFAR Program Officer, Ms. Ann Namkung Lee.
A listing of individual NIH AIDS funded grants with number, title, and project officer for your institution(s) can be obtained by sending an email request to Ann Namkung Lee.

Please note the previous table “Anecdotal Evidence for CFAR Value Added” is no longer mandatory. The CFAR program announcement, PAR-09-103 under the Developmental Core section on page 17 suggests to include this table, but this is an error. Evidence of added value is important, but please include this information in the narrative.
