Services for the Preclinical Development of Therapeutic Agents

Prioritization and Approval Process

Prioritization is based on:

Public health impact within the scope of the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases’ (DMID) responsibilities
Availability of contract resources
The likelihood that services will contribute significantly to the eventual development and/or evaluation of a therapeutic of high priority

Approval is granted by the Project Officer in consultation with senior DMID management.
