Services for the Preclinical Development of Therapeutic Agents

Prioritization and Approval Process

Prioritization is based on:

  • Public health impact within the scope of the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases’ (DMID) responsibilities
  • Availability of contract resources
  • The likelihood that services will contribute significantly to the eventual development and/or evaluation of a therapeutic of high priority

Approval is granted by the Project Officer in consultation with senior DMID management.
