What services does this resource provide?

The Proteomics Research Centers (PRCs) were established to elucidate the proteomes of various NIAID Category A-C priority Pathogens and other microorganisms responsible for emerging and/or re-emerging diseases using existing proteomics technologies, and/or the creation of novel proteomics approaches and early stage validation assays. Their goal was to discover targets for potential candidates for the next generation of vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics.

Where are services provided?

The research activities were carried out by a group of universities, companies, and government laboratories. Data and reagent information are still available through the Resource Center (non-Government link), which is managed by 3 groups.
