Key Functions
- Negotiates and issues all NIAID grant awards.
- Handles all matters relating to the notice of grant award, including funding levels and terms and conditions.
- Resolves budget and administrative issues for individual grants.
- Interprets grants policies as they relate to the grant award process.
- Oversees post award fiscal and administrative issues.
- Provides guidance to NIAID and the extramural community.
- Maintains a repository of all official grant award records.
