Key Functions
- Creates and manages user-driven Web content for the extramural research community on the public NIAID Research Funding site.
- Supplements the public Web site with information for NIAID's extramural staff on the internal NIAID Inside Extramural site.
- Collaborates with other parts of the Institute to produce new grant-writing tutorials, standard operating procedures, glossary terms, and other content.
- Writes and publishes two newsletters, the public NIAID Funding News and the internal Inside Extramural.
- Responds to questions from the extramural research community and NIAID staff, publishing answers in NIAID Funding News and in Questions and Answers.
- Performs special writing, technical, and design projects for DEA.
- Establishes and implements editorial standards for DEA.
