The 131st meeting of the National Advisory Allergy and Infectious Diseases Council (NAAIDC) was convened at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 1999 in Conference Room 10, Building 31, and Conference Rooms A and D, Natcher Conference Center, National Institutes of Health. Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), presided as Chairman.
In accordance with the provisions of Public Law 92-463, the meeting was open to the public from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on January 25, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on January 26. The meeting was closed to the public on January 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and again from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., for review and consideration of individual grant applications. Notice of the meeting was published in the Federal Register.
