Minutes of Meeting

June 4-5, 2001

The 138th meeting of the National Advisory Allergy and Infectious Diseases Council (NAAIDC) was convened at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2001 in Conference Rooms E1/E2, F1/F2, and D, Natcher Conference Center, National Institutes of Health. Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), presided as Chairman.

In accordance with the provisions of Public Law 92-463, the meeting was open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on June 4 and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 5. The meeting was closed to the public on June 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and again from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., for review and consideration of individual grant applications. Notice of the meeting was published in the Federal Register.
