The 140th meeting of the National Advisory Allergy and Infectious Diseases Council (NAAIDC) was convened at 8:30 a.m., on Thursday, January 17, 2002 in Conference Rooms E1/E2, F1/F2, B and D, Natcher Conference Center, National Institutes of Health. Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), presided as Chairman.
In accordance with the provisions of Public Law 92-463, the meeting was open to the public from 11:00 a.m., to 12:00 p.m., and from 1:30 p.m., to 5:00 p.m., on January 17. The meeting was closed to the public on January 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and again from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., for review and consideration of individual grant applications. Notice of the meeting was published in the Federal Register.
