Minutes of Meeting

September 23, 2002

The 142nd meeting of the National Advisory Allergy and Infectious Diseases Council (NAAIDC) was convened at 8:30 a.m., on Monday, September 23, 2002 in Conference Rooms E1/E2, F1/F2, A and D, Natcher Conference Center, National Institutes of Health. Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), presided as Chairman.

In accordance with the provisions of Public Law 92-463, the meeting was open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., on September 23. The meeting was closed to the public on September 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and again from 11:50 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for review and consideration of individual grant applications. Notice of the meeting was published in the Federal Register.
