Infectious Disease Pathogenesis Section

The Infectious Disease Pathogenesis Section provides support to NIAID investigators and programs that conduct research involving animals. Our veterinarians provide expertise in veterinary pathology with regard to experimental design and the conduct, interpretation, and publication of studies involving laboratory animals. Other major areas of interest include infectious diseases, pathogenesis of disease, and pathology of the lymphoid system.
