Resources

Peptide Synthesis

Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities* The Electronic Discussion Group covers both protein/peptide and nucleic acid chemistry, sequencing, synthesis, mass spectrometry, amino acid analysis, biocomputing, and laboratory management. Members range from junior technical staff to departmental chairs.
AnaSpec, Inc* Provides an overview of peptide synthesis and compilations of various synthetic procedures.
Antibodies resources Resources that provide information and experiment advice for antibodies:
Guides to Handling, Dissolving, and Storing Peptides Several guides are available to assist investigators in handling peptides.

Proteomics

ProtIG* The group organizes monthly seminars in relevant areas of proteomics, including talks on separation and protein identification methods, determination of post-translational modifications, protein/protein interactions, and bioinformatics and data management.
The ExPASy - Expert Protein Analysis System* The proteomics server of the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB) is dedicated to the analysis of protein sequences and structures as well as 2-D PAGE.

Mass Spectrometry and Chromotography

Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities, Delta Mass* The database of protein post-translational modifications.
Scientific Instrument Services, Inc.* The largest independent specialist in mass spectrometry and chromatography.
SpectroscopyNOW.com* The most comprehensive Web resource for mass spectrometrists.
