N-Terminal Protein Sequencing
The laboratory provides an array of consultative and technical services for N-terminal protein sequencing:
- N-terminal sequencing of proteins and peptides by automated Edman degradation
- Internal sequencing of N-terminally blocked proteins/peptides
- Separation of samples on a cLC microblotter system for subsequent analysis
- Identification of a protein in a gel plug by tryptic digestion
- Help in design of protein purification strategies
- Help in interpretation of sequence analysis data
- Coordination of analysis strategies using MS and Edman analysis
