Influenza Genome Sequencing Project

Overview

Introduction and goals of the Influenza Genome Sequencing Project

Reagent Request Process

Procedures for submitting samples to be sequenced

Data Release Policies

NIAID policy for releasing project data

Project Status

As of April 18, 2008, 2984 human and avian isolates have been completely sequenced and made available through GenBank.

Viral Samples Being Sequenced

Information on viral samples submitted, including collaborator, sample description, and sequencing status

Influenza Virus Resource

Presents data obtained from the Influenza Genome Sequencing Project and GenBank, combined with tools for flu sequence analysis and annotation. In addition, it provides links to other resources that contain flu sequences, publications and general information about flu viruses.
