HIV Vaccine Design and Development Teams (HVDDT)
Applicants are encouraged but not required to conduct Phase I/II trials in collaboration with the NIAID/DAIDS-supported HIV Vaccine Trials Network. The teams will advance their vaccine concept along a well-defined development path in a timely manner toward a vaccine product within the five year period of the contract. Support for Phase III studies is not allowed under this solicitation.
