Labs at NIAID Conducting Primary Immune Deficiency Disease Research

There are two NIAID labs studying primary immune deficiency diseases (PIDDs):

LCID and LHD clinicians also oversee NIAID’s Primary Immune Deficiency (PID) Clinic, which serves the following purposes:

  • Provides thorough exams, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations for PIDD patients and their families
  • Offers eligible individuals the opportunity to participate in an ongoing PIDD clinical study
